Summary : A Roman inscribed stone was found at Wroxeter in 1819. It was deposited in Shrewsbury Museum.
More information : A Roman inscribed stone was found in 1819, precise
find-spot unknown, and was in the wall of the vicarage garden at
Wroxeter in 1851. The inscription reads:-
BONO REI
PVBLICAE
NATVS

The stone was probably the base of a statue and is now in Shrewsbury
Museum. (1-2)
