Summary : A moated site formerly occupied by Lovels Hall. It consists of a grassy platform circa 50m square surrounded by a dry moat up to circa 23m wide and 1.6m deep. On the east side a rectangular extension of the moat is interpreted as a fishpond. Scheduled.

Francis Lovel, born 1454 lived here for a brief period 'His
house at Halebank' is mentioned in 1487. (3)
