Summary : Ro inscribed stone fd 1964 (prob not in situ)
More information : [SJ 40926456] During excavation of a trench in January
1964, a slate slab, (3ft. x 9 ins) bearing the following
inscription was found.

] LEG. XXII.D [
] AEF. LEG. XX. V.V.[

The slab, presumed to have come from a tomb in the vicinity,
had been cut and re-used. (Acc. No. 15R64) (1)

Mr. Davies, who found the slab, pointed out the exact find spot.
He said it was found at a depth of 7 ft. when trenching with a
mechanical digger. (2)
