Summary : A probable hillfort identified on Bury Hill. The ramparts have been heavily ploughed but are visible as slight earthworks.
More information : R Hingley has located a probable hillfort on the top of Bury Hill [SU 235964]. Heavily ploughed ramparts are clear on two sides of the enclosure, and much vitrified material was collected from one side of the rampart. (1)
