The feature comprises a large bank c1m high x c2.5m wide, with an intermittent ditch, c1m wide x c0.3m deep, on its western side. The ditch appears wet and clean cut, possibly used as a drain. The feature lies on a roughly NNE-SSW alignment and runs from the western corner of the Saltpetre House (SU 30 NW 2) to a barrow (SU 30 NW 8), where it turns before fading amidst excessive ground disturbance.
