More information : Licence to hold services for one year in the chapel at "Chesewick" was granted in 1360. It stood on Chapel Hill at the east end of the village (area NU 031465). Our Lady's Well nearby was lately (1852) drained. (1) Chapel Hill is at NU 03084640 (information Mr. A. Davidson of Cheswick). There are no visible remains of the chapel, but buildings to the south contain probable re-used material from it. The well can no longer be identified. (2)
