Summary : Romano-British pottery including a piece of amphora were found when a pipe trench went through the line of Ermine Street, RR2d.
More information : SE 94531757. A small number of Romano-British sherds including an amphora body sherd and one mortarium rim, were found when a water main was laid across the line of Ermine Street (RR 2d) at Roxby cum Risby in 1970. The finds are now in Scunthorpe Museum. (1)
