Summary : Gardens to Mells Manor House laid out during the early 16th century and circa 1905 by Sir Edwin Lutyens.

Gardens at Mells Manor House cover an area of 1.8 ha. and date to, c. 1520 and and 1900. The later gardens were designed by Lutyens and Jekyll. The Medieval features include a walled garden situated to the north of the house. An estate map of 1680 shows enclosed gardens and an avenue across the entrance. To the south front of the house is a terrace with a loggia overlooking a flower garden and statuary. (1)

The gardens were laid out during the early 16th century and circa 1905 by Sir Edwin Lutyens. (2)
