Summary : Chapel at Glastonbury Abbey constructed during the early 16th century by Abbot Beere in honour of Our Lady of Loretta. The actual siting of the chapel appears to be in doubt, it is thought to be adjacent to the west side of the north transept.
More information : (ST 50083886) Loretto Chapel. Built in the early 16th century by Abbot Beere in honour of Our Lady of Loretta. The site seems to be in some doubt, and is shown in different places by the authorities, though always adjacent to the west side of the north transept. The siting used in (3) is chosen as probably representing the most recent view (1-3).
