Summary :
Site of the probable 5th/6th century monastery at Glastonbury Abbey. Excavations have located traces of buildings including minor chapels surrounded by an inhumation cemetery. The complex is bounded by a bank and ditch.

(ST 50003885 - area centred). Area of the probable Celtic monastery, with the Vetusta Ecclesia surrounded by a cemetery, in which there were minor chapels and bounded by a strong bank and ditch, remains of which have been found in the east side. (1-3)
