Timber framed house built in the 17th century on an L-shaped plan. A A Milne,the author dramatist and poet, lived here for many years, and all his "Winnie the Pooh" books were written here.

L-shaped C17 or earlier timber-framed house, refaced with red brick on ground floor and tile-hung above. Tiled roof. Casement windows. A. A Milne, dramatist and poet, lived here for many years, and all his "Winnie the Pooh" books were written here. LISTED GRADE II. (2)
