Summary : A Bronze Age round barrow located just south of the summit of Wrelton Moor, immediately west of the ruins of Leaf Howe House. Leaf Howe round barrow is a large and prominent mound 27 metres in diameter and 1.8 metres high. Its profile shows no evidence of antiquarian excavation and is considered to be undisturbed. More information : (SE 77999441) Leaf Howe (NR). (1) A prominent turf-covered round barrow, apparently undisturbed, and measuring 27m in diameter and 1.8m in height. Re-surveyed at 1:10,000. The name `Leaf Howe' is still in common use. (2)
