Summary : Bronze Age round barrow surviving as an earthwork.
More information : (SE 55229651) Flat Howe (NAT) (Tumulus) (NR). (1)

A large prominent barrow measuring 20.0m in diameter with a maximum
height of 1.7m. It is largely composed of earth and has a deep pit in
its centre. The name is still in local use. Surveyed at 1:10000. (2)

SE 552965. Flat Howe round cairn. Scheduled No NY/883. (3)

SE 5523 9650. Round barrow on Bilsdale West Moor known as Flat Howe.
