A Bronze Age round barrow, one of at least four on Moor Ings/Murton Common. A Bronze Age spearhead was found in one of the barrows, though it is not clear which. The barrow was also mapped as part of the North York Moors National Park NMP project and appears to be no longer extant on the latest 2009 vertical photography.

Denny mentions that "in a third tumulus on Moor Ings a
spearhead or arrowhead weapon 10 ins long with shaft-described
as bronze" was found. (See SE 58 NW 13 & 14).

Ploughed through, but still visible as a slight rise in a
cultivated field.
Published survey (25") correct.
It cannot be established which of the barrows on Moor Ings
contained the implement.

The barrow was also mapped as part of the North York Moors National Park NMP project, visible as an earthwork on air photographs, centred at SE 5102 8821. It has a maximum diameter of 19m. The barrow is located in proximity to three further Bronze Age round barrows (UID 57086, 57102, 57099). It appears to be no longer extant on the latest 2009 vertical photography.
