Summary : The farmhouse incorporates part of the 14th century castle but is mainly of 19th century date. The building is of two storeys and is of rendered stone with a pantile roof. The house is of four bays, the right hand bay has a lower roof. Bay two contains a four-panel door with overlight set in a plain doorcase with pilasters, frieze and cornice.

Harlsey Castle, 18th c. farmhouse built on the site of a 14th c.
castle, (see SE 49 NW: 8) incorporating some of these remains.
Coursed rubble rendered, pantile ridge roof with stone coped gables
and three brick stacks. Grade 2*. (2)
