The field system is visible as earthworks on air photographs and has been mapped as part of the North York Moors National Mapping Programme Project.
More information : (SE 47099527) Nine Stones (NAT) (1)

Thimbleby Moor. An extensive system of small, irregular fields
with tumbled stone walls covering large parts of the northern slope
of the recently burned off heather moor was revealed on air
photography by D R Brown and D A Spratt in 1976. There are also a few
round cairns. To the S, on the crest of the moor, are four standing
stones and some fallen megaliths known as The Nine Stones, perhaps
the remains of a double alignment leading to the site. (The NGR
SE 470944 is given but this falls S of Thimbleby Moor. SE 470955
would centre the field system North of the Nine Stones as described.
Nothing visible on RAF air photographs 1951). (2)

Elements of the probable Bronze Age field system described by the above authority is visible as earthworks on air photographs centred at SE 4725 9577. Fragments of irregular field boundaries and five probable cairns are visible on the northern slopes of Thimbleby Moor. The banked earthworks of the field system appear stony in character. The field system has been mapped using the available air photographs as part of the North York Moors National Mapping Programme Project. Elements of the earthworks appear extant on the latest 2009 vertical photography.
