"The remains of some ancient earhworks". Ringston Hill was a
place of meeting in the Civil War and an account of 1645 refers
to a guard there. [A.Ps - 541/31/4385-6, May 1948 - negative.]. (2)

Ringston Hill appears completely natural with no traces of
earthworks. (3)
