Little John's Well is a spring, and the point of issue is marked
by a vertical stone slab. There are other, recumbent, stones
nearby which suggest that it may at one time have been enclosed
whole or in part. The spring feeds into a stone trough a short
distance down the slope; and this is inscribed 'Little John's
Well'.
