Summary : An estate office and cotttage, dated 1884, situated to the north of Winstanley Hall. It is constructed from rock-faced stone with a slate roof and is of two-storeys with attic in two bays. Windows have rusticated architraves, most are 3-light-recessed-chamfered-mullioned windows with small paned casements, some replaced, but the attic has two pointed lights. A reset plaque is inscribed: "WINSTANLEY/ESTATE/OFFICE/1884". A one-storey, two-bay connecting block contains the entrance. The cottage is of two-storeys and two-bays with a hipped roof. To the ground floor there are pointed windows whilst the first floor has a 2-light small-paned casement. |
