Summary : Manor house, built in late 14th-15th century and altered mid-late 17th and 20th centuries. Built of rubble with freestone dressings and double Roman tiled roofs at different levels with rendered diagonal stacks. The gatepiers, gates, flanking walls and central flight of steps are early-mid 18th century and listed grade II. The house is listed grade II* and within the area of a scheduled site, but excluded from the scheduling although the ground beneath is included. |
