Summary : Parish church dating from the 16th or 17th century, altered in the early 19th century and rebuilt in 1857. The nave was re-roofed in the 20th century. It is thought that the church replaced a medieval church on the site. The church is within a scheduled area but is excluded from the scheduling, the ground beneath is included, the church itself is listed. A late 10th-12th century grave cover or marker is set in the west end of the nave floor.
