Summary : Supposed site of 12/13th century moated manor house. By 1816 the site had been levelled although some remains were visible near the mill. By 1964 it was covered by allotment gardens and nothing remained.

In 1816 the site had been levelled though some remains were still visible near the mill. [O.S. 1st edition 1" shows what appears to be a small moated enclosure here] (2-4) The site is covered by allotment gardens. Nothing intelligible remains. (5)
