Summary : A country house which is dated 1687 on a re-cut plaque on the building, but which may possibly be of an early 17th century construction date, with mid 19th century additions and alterations. It is of pebble-dashed rubble with a slate roof and is two-storeys high. The facade has a central section of two bays, with a one-bay cross-wing to the right and a one-bay 19th century tower at the left. Between the two central bays is a single-storey gabled porch. Inside, the floor was removed from the central room in the 19th century, forming an open hall with gallery. |
