Summary : Coverham Bridge is a medieval bridge which crosses the River Cover in the south west corner of the precinct of Coverham Abbey (SE 18 NW 6). It is a single arch construction of rubble with ashlar dressing dating to the 15th century with the parapets added later. It allowed access to the abbey granges and properties. Scheduled and Listed Grade II*. |
