More information : SE 1208 4483 Ashlar Chair (NAT) (1) A 7 foot long, couch-shaped stone known as Ashlar Chair or Druid's Chair. "It bears numerous cups and channels". Also, a few yards to the east is a stone, 14 feet by 5 feet, bearing cups and grooves on its topmost angle". (2) The Ashlar Chair falls largely below the junction of two field walls. There are no markings on the visible surface area; but certainly those on Speight's second stone are natural weatherings. (3)
