Summary : Bronze Age round cairn surviving on the ground.
More information : [SE 1383 4519] Little Skirtful of Stones TUMULUS [OE] (1) The 'Little Skirtful of Stones', a scheduled round barrow on Burley Moor. (2) The 'Little Skirtful of Stones' is a large cairn 1.6m high composed of loose stone. It is in good condition apart from some minor mutilation in the centre. See G.P.AO/65/155/1. Divorced survey with S.C.P. (pending A/M plotting). (3) Condition unchanged. Surveyed at 1:10,000 (4) SE 1383 4518. Cairn known as the Little Skirtful of Stones. Scheduled RSM No 25312. (5) The feature described above is visible as an earthwork on air photographs and was mapped as part of the Lower Wharfedale NMP project. The cairn, centred at SE 1383 4519, is visible as a circular mound 15.3m in diameter. (6)
