Summary : Site of railway station on the Axholme Joint Railway opened in 1905, closed to passengers in 1933 and entirely in 1965.
More information :
The main line opened from Reedness to Crowle in 1903, but the southern section was delayed by the completion of Crowle swing bridge. Although opened to goods in November 1904, it did not open to passengers until 2 January 1905, once the Board of Trade recommendations had been completed. This applies to all stations south of Crowle (Belton, Epworth, Haxey Town, Haxey Junction). (1)
