More information : [SE 0310 3520] Cross [GT] (Rems. of) (1) Cross remains built into the western wall of a lane leading to the village of Oxenhope from near the station. This has long been called Cross Lane, and Cross House stands near by. The cross consists of part of the head, the shaft having been broken off flush with the horizontal limb. It was in a dry wall close by till securely fixed in its present position a few years ago. It is roughly dressed and much weathered, 15 in. high and 24 in. wide. Very little is known of its history.
