Summary : A Bronze Age palstave was found while trenching for a water pipe at Wall Green Denshaw, in April 1932. It was found by Mr. Jones, a local poultry farmer.
More information : Looped bronze palstave, 6 1/2 ins. long, found while trenching for a water pipe at Wall Green Denshaw, in April 1932. Found by Mr. Jones, a local poultry farmer. (1) The implement is now in the possession of Mr. D.McLintock,who says that it was found at exactly SD 97911038. (2)
