Apparently not excavated. 'B'-(187)-SY 95878099. Bowl (?) barrow, 62ft diameter and 5 1/2ft high. 'C'-(188)-SY 95918090. Bowl barrow, possibly ditched 38ft diameter and 2ft high. 'D'-(189)-SY95958093. Bowl (?) barrow, 46ft diameter and 4 1/2ft high. Disturbed on top. (1-3) SY 962809. Group of round barrows on Corfe Common. Scheduled (see also SY 98 SE 17, 47). (4)
A plain tripalite urn in the British Museum collection has been identified as coming from one of these barrows or from the adjacent barrow groups. (SY 98 SE 17 or SY 98 SE 47) Brit Mus Acc. No. 1982.9-1.238. (5)
Four well preserved bowl barrows: SY95668097 20m in diameter with an average height of 1.8m. The top has been disturbed and flattened; part of the mound has also slumped. There is no clear trace of a ditch.
SY95878098 Average 20m in diameter but spread on a N-S axis to 24m across. An average height of 2m. There is evidence of disturbance in the form of pits and perhaps a slight trench across the top of the rounded mound, There is no clear trace of a ditch.
SY95928090 13m in diameter and 0.6m high; little evidence of disturbance. There are slight traces of a ditch.
SY95948092 16.2m in diameter and 1.4m high. Disturbed top and suggestions of spoil on the Sw side. There are traces of a ditch. A linear earthen bank, 0.3m high, crosses the southern fringe of the mound. (6)
