More information : (SX 85626875) Lych Gate (NAT). (1) The old village stocks are in the church porch; to reach which one must pass through an early 17th century lychgate. (2) A plaque on the Lych Gate states that it was restored in 1899. While the actual gates and the slate roof are modern, the cob side walls are probably of considerable age.
