DESCRIPTION + /

A Bronze Age round cairn situated on the summit of Hangingstone Hill. The cairn survives as a 17 metre diameter and 1.6 metre high, flat topped stony mound. A shallow pit in the centre of the cairn suggests partial excavation or robbing. A number of edge set stones are visible within the fabric of the mound, suggesting the survival of original constructional details. Scheduled.
