GARRETT HALL

House, now farmhouse, with a timber-framed structure of 17th century date which has been largely rebuilt in brick in the 18th and 19th centuries and rendered in the 20th century. It is of a T-shaped plan with a total of four bays and two storeys.

Garrett Hall was formerly the house of the Tyldesley family and may have replaced an earlier house on the same site.
