Cist found during routine perambulation. Two end stones and the
western side stone are in an upright position while the eastern side stone leans inwards. Length of northern end stone 0.7m, southern end stone 0.7m, eastern side stone 1.2m and western side stone 1m. Present depth of cist 0.3m. There is a cover stone measuring 1.6m by 1m which rests on the eastern side stone and which partly covers the northern corner of the cist. The cist is situated in a turf covered cairn 5 m in diameter and 0.4m high. (2)

The Bronze Age cairn and cist, recorded by previous authorities, are visible as a structure and earthwork on 2021 Historic England orthomosaic aerial photography. The site was mapped from aerial sources in 2023 during the Historic England Dartmoor-Plym project. It is centred on SX 60375 66915. The cairn mound measures approximately 4.6m in diameter.
