MONUMENT NO. 441603

DESCRIPTION + /

A Bronze Age cairn in the form of a low heather covered mound 10.8m in diameter and up to 1.0m high composed of fist-sized stones and small boulders. A linear trench has been cut from the SW side of the mound into the centre to a maximum 1.2m deep. The spoil has been deposited either around the top of the trench or on the SW side. There is no evidence of a central cist although the bottom of the trench is covered by debris. A scheduled ancient monument.
