A Bronze Age enclosed settlement and the site of an adjoining medieval farmstead at Dean Moor. The enclosure measures 140 metres by 90 ketres and was excavated between 1954 and 1956. It contains 9 hut circles with an average diameter of 6.5 metres and with walls of 1.5 metres wide. The medieval settlement consisted of farm buildings and yards and pottery finds of the 13th and 14th centuries. The site has now been submerged beneath the Avon Dam reservoir.
