Summary :

A cairn measuring 8.6m in diameter and 0.6m high. It has a cist is 1.1m by 0.6m and 0.6m deep and aligned north-east to south-west. The former coverstone lies to the west. The cairn and cist, recorded by previous authorities, are visible as a structure and earthwork on Environment Agency 1m Lidar data flown in 2019 and 2021 Historic England orthomosaic aerial photography. The site was mapped from aerial sources in 2023 during the Historic England Dartmoor-Plym project.

A cist with its coverstone removed, 832 feet west of Hentor Brook
and 51 feet north of Cornwood Reave (SX 56 NE 123) The cist
appeared to have been recently disturbed and excavations exposed
no finds. (2)

On a slight north-west slope near a reave (see SX 56 SE 123) is a
cairn with cist. The cairn is 8.6m in diameter and 0.6m high;
the cist is 1.1m by 0.6m and 0.6m deep and aligned north-east to
south-west.

Surveyed at 1:10 000 on PFD. (3)

SX 58276535. A cairn immediately adjacent to and west of Willings Walls Reave. The cairn mound measures 9 metres in diameter and up to 0.5 metres high. It contains a central cist with one end slab and two side slabs in place. Scheduled. (5)

SX 58286534. This cairn is as described by Authority 3. The former coverstone lies immediately W of the cist. (8)

The cairn and cist, recorded by previous authorities, are visible as a structure and earthwork on Environment Agency 1m Lidar data flown in 2019 and 2021 Historic England orthomosaic aerial photography. The site was mapped from aerial sources in 2023 during the Historic England Dartmoor-Plym project. It is centred on SX 58274 65332. The cairn mound measures approximately 9.6m in diameter. Scheduled monument NHLE 1019083. (9-10)
