Summary : A bowl barrow which lies on the slope of a high upland ridge on East Kimber Common. The barrow survives as a circular mound which measures 26.6 metres in diameter and up to 0.8 metres high. The surrounding quarry ditch from which material to construct the mound was derived survives as a buried feature, although it is visible to the west as a flattened area which measures 3 metres wide. Scheduled.
More information : SX 49039706. A flat topped bowl barrow, diameter 22.0m, height 0.6m. No trace of a ditch. Condition good though somewhat spread by ploughing. Now under pasture. Located during a field investigation.
