More information : (SX 40996455) Pentillie Castle Remains of a (NAT) Mansion (NR) (1) 'Pentillie Castle' a mansion built about 1805 by John Tillie-Coryton, on the site of the 17th century crenellated house of Sir James Tillie (died 1712). It is of early Gothic revival in style, of irregular plan with Perpendicular and Tudor details and battlemented parapets. (2,3)
