More information : Row of stones, ?stone setting situated on a slight north slope in furze and bracken covered area of unenclosed moorland. Centred at SX 26797016 at about 320m above OD. An inconspicuous north to south alignment of ten contiguous stones, extending on a slight slope for 5.8m with a further three stones over the next 2.5m. The southernmost stone is particularly large, an angular block about 0.7m across at the base, and 0.6m high. The others are from 0.3m to 0.6m across but apart from one 0.3m high are all 0.1m to 0.2m high. On the west side, 0.7m away but parallel to the row are another nine stones, almost concealed by turf except for the edge nearest the row; they may be a natural disposition or stone which have fallen. The exposed edges are from 0.3m to 0.9m long, with only a few centimetres of stone protruding. Assuming the western side to be a natural alignment the eastern row could be accepted as part of a prehistoric field boundary except that it is in isolation and very short and with no obvious evidence of clearance in the vicinity. Nevertheless, low contiguous block type stone are not the form of Bodmin Moor stone rows, and the structure, although possibly prehistoric, is enigmatic. Surveyed at 1:2500. (1)
