Belonged to family of Treharrick long before the Reformation.
Temp Henry VII is passed by marriage to the Cavells. The manor
was dismembered c1700 and the barton sold. A new house was
built on the site c1820. (Unable to resolve the difference in
spelling of "Trehannick"). (2-3)

There is no obvious trace of the former house at Trehannick.
The present house is not outstanding. (4)
