More information : SW 95716837 Tumulus (NR) (1) Disc barrow ?,66ft in diameter with outer bank 2ft high. Slight indications of a central tump. Much of the outer bank consists of a stone curb. (2,3) This barrow comprises a circular bank 5.0m wide, with an overall diameter of 21.0m, an external height of 0.4m and an internal height of 0.2m. A number of stones protrude from the top of the bank; there is no evidence of a ditch. A centrally-placed tump about 6.0m in diameter and 0.2m high is visible within the enclosed area but it has been dug into or spread. (See illustration). The barrow is in an area of reclaimed moorland and has been seeded so that it is now grass covered. Surveyed at 1:2500 on PFD. (4) Listed. (5)
