More information : (SW 854735) Camp (NR). (1) A cliff castle comprising three well defined, well spaced ditches. Two of these ditches are rock-cut and only the middle one has an accompanying bank. The inner ditch as a centrally placed causeway, and the two outer ditches have staggered entrances to the south of the inner causeway. Survyed at 1:2500. (2) This defended settlement is as surveyed in 1969. A depression behind the sole rampart has the appearance of at least two hut sites, no individually portrayable at 1/2500. The inner ditch is well cut with a straightness that does not occur in the ditches to the E., and may not be a contemporary work, though presumably within the period. (3)
