Summary : A bridge over the River Lune which is possibly of a late medieval date. It is constructed of squared sandstone blocks with three segmental arches separated by triangular cutwaters with pedestrian refuges. The bridge is Scheduled and Listed Grade II*.

Loyn Bridge, of uncertain date, has three segmental arches and massive cutwaters, each having triangular recesses. The double arch-rings are built in two orders and the roadway is 19ft wide. An
earlier bridge was reported in 1591 as being 'in a dangerous
condition'. Grade 2. (2-3)
