DESCRIPTION

A circular enclosure comprising an earthwork bank and ditch, and enclosing an area of about half an acre, was largely destroyed in 1962. Ordnance Survey field investigation in 1970 recorded surviving traces indicating a round circa 60 metres by 50 metres.

SW 70074800. A circular entrenchment with single bank and ditch enclosing about 1/2 acre recorded by Thomas and destroyed in 1962. (2-3)

A round indicated by an area roughly 60 by 50m. The feature is visible as a bank but it is probable that the inner scarp is the result of ploughing during the time the round was enclosed.

The enclosing banks and walls, excepting those on the south, were destroyed in 1962.

Surveyed at 1:2500. (4)

The earthwork remains of a round, located 520 metres north-west of Trevissick Farm. The spread remains of an original, single enclosing bank survive, along with evidence for an external ditch and an original entrance on the eastern side. Scheduled. (5)
