More information : [SD 59922427] St. James Church [T.U.] (1) The church of St. James was rebuilt in the 15c. The present tower and north chapel are of this date, the latter much restored in recent years. The nave was rebuilt in 1817, and the chancel in 1869-70, when the church was thoroughly restored. The rectory is mentioned before 1200. (2) The church is at present used for ecclesiastical purposes. Description by Authority 2 is fully correct. (3)
