Summary : The site of a medieval cross, removed to Lanherne.
More information : A wheel-head cross, which Langdon describes as "the
most beautiful specimen of an elaborately decorated cross in
Cornwall", originally stood in a field called "Chapel Close" in
the Barton of Roseworthy. Baird notes that 'it was then almost
certainly in situ' and that it was moved to its present position
in Lanherne Convent, Mawgan-in-Pydar 'about one hundred years ago'. (1-2)

Cross removed from either by the chapel (SW 63 NW 20) or the
holy well (SW 63 NW 21) to Lanherne in the 18th century (See
SW 86 NE 16 for details of cross). (3)
