COLDBRIDGE FARM

DESCRIPTION + /

An 18th/19th century farmhouse incorporating remains of a medieval fortified manor house. Licences to crenellate were granted in 1314 and 1363 and the house was probably demolished circa 1559-78. The moat, a fishpond, and what appears to be a large paddock, survive as earthworks.
