Summary : A bastle is recorded at Felkington in 1561. It was probably built after 1541. No trace of such a structure is now visible.
More information : A survey of 1561 mentions a bastall house of small strength at Felkington. Probably built after the survey of 1541. (1) Felkington is a collection of farm buildings at NT 9444. There are no apparent remains of a bastle and no local knowledge concerning its site. (2) Listed by Cathcart King and by Dodds. (3,4)
