More information : (TQ 08731197) Three or four small bowl barrows at Sullington, 7 - 8 paces diameter. (1) Four small bowl barrows situated at Chantry Post on the crest of the South Downs. 'A' (on NW of group, surmounted by seat) 9.0m in diameter, 0.5m high. 'B' (Largest barrow ; to SE of group, surmounted by Guide post in cement base). 11.0m in diameter, 0.6m high. 'C' (On NE of group surmounted by seat) 8.5m in diameter, 0.4m high. 'D' (On SW of group) 7.0m N-S, 7.5m E-W, 0.3m high. Cut into on the W side by a modern road. All the barrows are under turf and none have any traces of a ditch. Divorced survey at 1:2500. (2)
